Job summary

TSR in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator for an upcoming project. The candidate should have proven painting & decorating skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The role requires adherence to site health & safety and a commitment to high workmanship standards. This is a full-time site role in Sheffield.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator.
• Good knowledge of preparation and painting techniques.
• High standard of workmanship.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of site health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Preparing surfaces prior to painting and decorating.
• Painting walls, ceilings, doors, frames and other surfaces.
• Applying emulsion, gloss and other finishes.
• Filling, sanding and carrying out preparation work.
• Wallpapering and general decorating duties where required.
• Ensuring a high-quality finish is achieved.
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Working safely and following site procedures.
