Job summary

Northbay Services is seeking skilled painters and decorators to join our busy estates team. The role involves decorating care homes across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and parts of the North East, with a shared vehicle and materials provided.

You will work on site at multiple care home locations and travel up to 75% of the time. We expect three years of painting experience, a valid driving licence, and the ability to plan and execute decorating tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in decorating and painting within care homes.
• Enhanced DBS check is required; references will be requested.
• Travelling between sites across Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare painting surfaces by washing walls and filling holes.
• Mix and apply paints and finishes as required.
• Assist with planning and prepare surrounding areas for tasks.

Due to continued growth, Northbay Services are seeking to recruit additional Painter’s and Decorator’s to join our busy and expanding estates team.

We are looking to recruit the right candidates with experience in decorating and painting within the care homes we maintain.

Working remotely alongside a 2nd painter, the role will include some travel across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the part of the North East. A shared vehicle and materials will be supplied.

You will be working within our care homes and will be required to undertake decorating within these to maintain a high standard across the estate.

The work will include:

• Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing / filling holes or removing old paint as required.


• Mixing, matching and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces and faux finishes as the project requires.


• Help planning and preparation of the work in an efficient manner and preparing the surrounding areas, such as moving furniture and equipment as necessary for the said project.


• Calculate the number of materials and time needed for the project.

The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable employment references.

Driving licence essential.
