Job summary

Orchard Care Homes is seeking a Mobile Painter & Decorator to work across our 23 sites in the North of England. This full-time role involves maintaining high decorative standards across our care homes, acting as the point of contact for decorating tasks, and ensuring work is completed on time and within scope.

You will need a trade mastery, strong organisational skills, IT literacy, and a clean driving licence with willingness to travel and stay away overnight.

Qualifications

• Master of trade and detail orientated.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• IT literate – MS Office and online FM platforms.
• Clean driving licence and travel flexibility, including overnight stays.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Professional, approachable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for decorating queries across sites.
• Liaise with Home Manager to maintain good decorative order.
• Complete decorating tasks on time and within scope.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, COSHH and Fire Safety.
• Report deficiencies to Home Manager and Estates team.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity and choice.
• Coordinate with external contractors for Health & Safety and Care Standards compliance.
