Job summary

Planet Recruitment is seeking a qualified Painter and Decorator for a permanent, full-time role in Abingdon, England. You will carry out painting, decorating and related maintenance to keep buildings looking high quality and safe.

You should have a recognised qualification in Painting and Decorating (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) and experience with planned maintenance programmes and finishing a wide range of surfaces. IPAF, PASMA, CSCS or similar access cards are required.

• Experience of planned preventative maintenance programmes.
• Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, with ability to prep and finish various surfaces.
• IPAF, PASMA, CSCS Card or other access equipment qualifications.
• Pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining high standards.

• Carry out painting, decorating and maintenance tasks to keep buildings in prime condition.
• Work items defined by Maintenance Tickets with location and priority.
• Support the Maintenance team with general tasks as needed.

Planet Recruitment are looking for qualified painters and decorators to join our client in a permanent full time position.

Duties

To carry out painting, decorating, and associated maintenance works, ensuring buildings are maintained to a high standard and provide a safe, attractive, and professional environment.

Undertake duties as instructed by the Maintenance Manager, work items will also be instructed by Maintenance Request Tickets which will define the job, its location and priority. Duties will include undertaking various painting, decorating and maintenance tasks:

Specification

Recognised qualification in Painting and Decorating (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)

Experience of planned preventative maintenance programmes.

Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, experience preparing and finishing a wide range of surfaces.

IPAF, PASMA, CSCS Card or other relevant access equipment qualifications.

Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining high standards.

Support the wider Maintenance team with general maintenance duties where appropriate.
