Job summary

Planet Recruitment are seeking qualified painters and decorators for a permanent, full-time role with a client site. You will be responsible for painting, decorating and related maintenance to keep buildings safe, attractive and professional.

Role involves following Maintenance Manager instructions and using tickets to define tasks and priorities. Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) and experience in painting/finishing surfaces are required, with additional access qualifications

Qualifications

• Qualified in Painting and Decorating (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance programmes.
• Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, including preparing and finishing surfaces.
• IPAF, PASMA, CSCS or other access equipment qualifications.
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining high standards.
• Support the wider Maintenance team with general maintenance duties where appropriate.

• Maintain high standards of workmanship and finish.
• Follow instructions from Maintenance Manager and via Tickets (work orders).
• Assist with general maintenance tasks as part of the team.

Planet Recruitment are looking for qualified painters and decorators to join our client in a permanent full time position.

Duties

To carry out painting, decorating, and associated maintenance works, ensuring buildings are maintained to a high standard and provide a safe, attractive, and professional environment.

Undertake duties as instructed by the Maintenance Manager, work items will also be instructed by Maintenance Request Tickets which will define the job, its location and priority. Duties will include undertaking various painting, decorating and maintenance tasks:

Specification

• Recognised qualification in Painting and Decorating (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance programmes.
• Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, experience preparing and finishing a wide range of surfaces.
• IPAF, PASMA, CSCS Card or other relevant access equipment qualifications.
