Exterior Painter / Decorator - Permanent

Up To £32,158 Depending On Experience

40 hours per week (Varied through winter and summer)

About The Role

You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our cyclical redecorations programme, enhancing both our customers homes and communal areas.

Your main responsibilities will include applying paint to internal and external surfaces using brushes and rollers, in line with industry standards and to a high-quality finish - including work at height. You will also carry out general labouring duties, such as washing down uPVC windows, moving or removing furniture, and performing tasks as needed to support the completion of external decorations and internal communal area refurbishments.

About You

• Experience in domestic decorating works, preferably within a social housing context, with an appropriate trade qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Experience in using and working off of ladders and happy to work off of scaffolding, MEWP's and Towers.
• A great attitude with an eye for detail and the ability to meet targets without loss of quality.
• Excellent verbal communication skills when dealing with customers face-to-face.
• A sound working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations such as working from height.
• Experience of working within a building maintenance team environment (desirable but not essential).
• Must hold a full driving licence
