Job summary

Ian Williams seeks a skilled Painter to join our painting team in Birmingham, covering Telford. You will carry out internal and external decorations in customers’ properties within housing settings.

We offer a competitive salary of £32,103 for a 39-hour week with on-target earnings up to £36,159 including bonus, travel and fare allowance, plus uniform and PPE, paid holidays, pension contributions, life insurance and access to free legal/financial advice and counselling via Lighthouse Charity.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in painting or relevant trade.
• Experience in domestic / social housing environments preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for improving homes.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal and external decorations within housing settings.
• Work with residents and teams to deliver high-quality finishes.
• Ensure safety and compliance with health and safety policies.

The Painter role:

We’re committed to keeping you safe, happy and supported, therefore Health and Safety is paramount throughout the responsibilities of this role, for you, us, and the customer.

• You will be completing all internal andexternal decorations within housing settings
• Give a detailed example of some of the works they will be required to complete
• Working in a domestic environment, you enjoy working with people, whether as a team, or with the residents.

What you will bring as a Painter :

• Preferrably qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade
• Ideally experience of working within a domestic / social housing environment, orrelevant environment (albeit not essential)
• Having a passion for making a difference to peoples homes, you havestrong values in delivering exceptional customer service skills, and enjoy working with people
• Driving license, with eligibility to drive in the UK
