Job Title: Painter

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our small team at StandardAero, Almondbank, Perth.

Responsibilities:

1. The Painter is responsible, through the Plating & Surface Finish Manager to the Operations Manager, for supporting all surface finishing activities of aircraft components during their repair cycle at Vector Aerospace Component Services Almondbank.
2. These duties may include, but are not limited to:
3. Carrying out various surface finishing activities such as paint stripping, media blasting, masking, painting, or general labouring, in accordance with current authorized procedures, relevant Approved Source documentation, applicable ABM procedures, and Pollution Prevention Control Authorization.
4. Contributing to team delivery of targets and goals.
5. Complying with Tool Control Procedures as per relevant ABM procedures.
6. Attending and contributing to Team Meetings.
7. Carrying out ABC reviews.
8. Supporting a culture of Continuous Improvement to enhance productivity, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards, and fostering a leaner environment.
9. Undertaking training and training other team members to ensure maximum flexibility.
10. Performing work to the highest level of competence.
11. Supporting team output by undertaking additional duties as needed.
12. Ensuring debris in the work area is removed and cleaned promptly.
13. Keeping up-to-date with continuation training and ensuring training packs are read and signed.
14. Adhering to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and all related Business Manuals.
