Job summary

Merthyr Valleys Homes Ltd. is seeking a Painter to join our Homes and Places team. You will transform and maintain tenants' homes through high-quality painting and decorating, ensuring properties are safe, welcoming and meet high standards.

You will work closely with tenants and colleagues, measuring and ordering materials as needed. Planned works via PDA diary planner; some multiskilling is beneficial. Training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Wealth of experience in painting work.
• Experience dealing with tenants/customers on a daily basis.
• Experience measuring and ordering materials for jobs; planning via PDA diary planner.

Job description

Join our Homes and Places team as a Painter and make a real difference to the lives of our tenants. You'll be responsible for transforming and maintaining homes through high-quality painting and decorating work, ensuring properties are safe, welcoming, and meet the high standards our communities deserve.

Our ideal candidate shares our mutual values and is passionate about working in partnership with tenants. For this role, you must have a wealth of experience in all aspects of painting work. You'll need to have worked with customers/tenants/residents on a daily basis as well as being able to communicate with them and colleagues alike. You'll need experience of measuring and ordering materials and as all works in planned via a PDA you'll need to be comfortable in using handheld devices such as PDA/Phones with the diary planner software.

It would be beneficial if you have some experience of multiskilling although it's not essential
