Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer / Spray Painter for a long-term contract in Bristol, working on trains. You will prep and paint carriage interiors and exteriors, applying touch-ups and full resprays to a high standard in a depot environment.

The role is outside IR35 with a day shift Monday to Friday, 50-hour week including occasional afternoons; rate is £25 per hour on a Ltd company. Previous rolling stock or vehicle refinishing experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a vehicle Paint or Smart repair environment (e.g., Automotive, Rail or similar).
• Rolling Stock experience is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of H&S responsibilities.

• Preparation work: Perform high-quality prep work on carriage paintwork to remove surface defects ready for paint application.
• Paint spraying: Apply touch ups/full resprays to paint work in and around the area of work to a quality standard using spraying techniques.

Paint Sprayer / Spray Painter

Looking for a long term contract? Wanting Outside IR35 work?

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Sprayers either from body shop or Accident repair background or similar to join a contract with an expected duration of 2 years, the role will be working in Bristol working on Trains.

Working in a train depot you will be required to Prep & Paint exterior/interior of carriages and carry out smart repairs to surfaces.

This role has an attractive rate of £25.00 Per Hour Ltd OUTSIDE IR35, and will be conducted Monday to Friday on Day shift with occasional afternoons 1 week in 4, 1430 – 0100 totaling a 50 hour week.
