Job summary

Tru talent is seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer/Technician for a role in Slough. The position covers painting cars with water-based paints, requiring hands-on experience in a vehicle painting environment and adherence to safety standards.

Role involves preparing surfaces, color matching, spray application, and finishing touches. A City & Guilds or ATA accreditation is preferred, with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to produce high-quality paint spraying from start to finish as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician, Car Sprayer or Automotive Painter.
• Experience with water-based paints.
• Stable work history in a car painting environment.
• City & Guilds qualification or ATA accreditation.
• Strong up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
• Mix paint to match colours and apply using spray guns.
• Ensure smooth, even paint application without runs, sags, or imperfections.
• Perform touch-ups and finish work as required.
• Maintain and clean all painting equipment and keep a tidy workspace.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets industry standards and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and deliver high-quality results.

Location: Slough

Basic Salary: Up to £52,000 + Bonus £65,000+

Hours: 45h Monday to Friday ONLY
