Job summary

Perfect Placement are recruiting on behalf of a client, an established automotive accident repair centre in Pontypridd, to appoint a Vehicle Paint Sprayer. The role offers a busy workshop with a focus on high-quality finishes.

You will spray and finish vehicles to high standards, working Monday to Friday with shifts 7:00-4:00 or 8:00-5:00. A competitive hourly rate of £15-£22, plus annual leave and birthday day off, is offered.

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification in paint spraying or equivalent.
• Significant time-served experience will be considered if not qualified.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Ability to produce high-quality workmanship in a busy workshop.
• ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle spray painting and finishing to a company standard.
• Complete jobs within estimated timeframes, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Safeguard vehicles during the repair process.
• Interpret technical instructions and adhere to best practices.
• Use paint mixing schemes and equipment precisely for repairs.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety standards on return to customer.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established automotive accident repair centre in Pontypridd, to appoint a Vehicle Paint Sprayer.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to join a busy, well-respected workshop committed to high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

The Vehicle Paint Sprayer will play a key part in delivering exceptional paintwork on vehicles, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

• Competitive hourly rate of up to £15-22, depending on experience and current earnings. - 20 days’ annual leave plus 8 bank holidays and your birthday off, with entitlement increasing with length of service.
• Access to industry-leading training and ongoing development programmes.
• Working hours from Monday to Friday, with shifts either 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm.
• Birthday off every year.

Duties of the Paint Sprayer:

• Perform vehicle spray painting and finishing to a company standard, meeting all safety and quality requirements.
• Complete all jobs within estimated timeframes, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Safeguard vehicles and their contents during the repair process.
• Interpret technical instructions accurately and adhere to best practices.
• Use all paint mixing schemes, drying areas, and equipment precisely for all repairs.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with safety standards upon return to the customer.
• Seek clarification from the Bodyshop Manager if work orders are unclear or appear incorrect.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment while working within a busy workshop.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Paint Sprayer to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is preferred. individuals with significant, proven time-served experience will also be considered.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Ability to produce high-quality workmanship within a busy environment.
• Motivated individual, capable of working towards team targets.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• ATA accreditation is highly advantageous but not essential.
