Job summary

Kelling Group Limited is seeking a depot-based operative to prep and prepare unit exteriors for painting, ensuring clean surfaces and proper bodywork in line with company standards. You will conduct quality checks and help maintain paint stock under supervision, while following health and safety policies and the employee handbook.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work alone or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the exterior of the Units are clean prior to commencing work.
• Fill, sand down and prepare bodywork.
• Carry out quality checks.
• Maintain stock levels of paint and preparation products via Depot Manager.
• Adhere to the health and safety policy and procedures in depot operations.
• Follow Employee handbook policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor.

Job Function: To ensure company Units are prepared for painting to the required company standard.

Reporting to: Depot Manager.

Liaising with: Painter, Valeters, Yard Operatives.

The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure the exterior of the Units are clean prior to commencing work.
• To fill, sand down and prepare bodywork.
• To carry out quality checks.
• Maintain required stock levels of all paint and preparation products via Depot Manager.
• Ensure that the company’s health and safety policy and procedures are adhered to in relation to all depot operations.
• Follow company’s Employee handbook policies and procedures.
• Any other duties requested by your.
