Job summary

Austin Banks is seeking a Paint Plant Operative to join their production team in Doncaster. This hands‑on role involves operating a fast‑paced paint/powder coating line and finishing aluminium parts to a high standard. Flexible shift patterns are available.

You will hang parts, manage colour changes, clean booths, prep parts, and ensure quality by matching the Golden Sample. This on‑site role requires reliability, teamwork, and readiness to undertake training as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience on a paint plant or powder coating environment is preferred.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands.
• Willing to undertake relevant training.
• Good time management and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Hang aluminium parts onto the line and manage colour changes between parts.
• Clean booths and prepare parts (pre-treatment, taping, bunging) between colour processes.
• Finish products to a high standard, matching the Golden Sample.
• Check visual aids before completing each process.
• Identify quality issues that may require re‑tapping.
• Prepare and pack finished parts for despatch.
• Keep the work area safe, tidy and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
• Work closely with Line Supervisor and report issues as needed.

We're recruiting on behalf of a busy manufacturing client for Paint Plant Operatives to join their production team. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced paint/powder coating line, finishing aluminium parts to a high standard. Flexible shift patterns are available.

As a Paint Plant Operatives, you will be responsible for:

• Hanging aluminium parts onto the line and managing colour changes between parts
• Cleaning booths and preparing parts (pre-treatment, taping, bunging) between colour processes
• Finishing products to a high standard, matching the Golden Sample
• Checking visual aids before completing each process
• Identifying quality issues that may require re‑tapping
• Preparing and packing finished parts ready for despatch
• Keeping your work area safe, tidy and compliant with Health & Safety standards
• Working closely with your Line Supervisor and reporting any issues as needed

The ideal candidate will be:

• Previous experience on a paint plant or with powder coating (preferred)
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
• Willing to undertake relevant training
• Good time management, with the initiative to work independently as part of a team
