Michael Page is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a Warrington-based site in the paint department. The role covers hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and minimizing downtime to support production.

The ideal candidate has experience in automotive maintenance, HNC in electrical/mechanical maintenance, and knowledge of paint processes. The position offers a continental shift pattern and an attractive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Paint process knowledge essential.
• HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.
• Technician certification in mechanical/electrical/hydraulics/pneumatics or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive maintenance environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance of machinery, systems and utilities.
• Maintain highly sensitive equipment in the paint line.
• Lead 8Ds for customer issues and safety.
• Reduce downtime through long-term solutions.
