Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Paint Plant Operative in Doncaster to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will hang aluminium parts on the paint line, perform colour changes, prepare parts for painting and ensure quality standards are met.

Full training provided, with clear progression within a long-term production role. The role offers pay from £12.71 per hour with enhanced rates for afternoons and nights, plus benefits and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/production experience desirable.
• Paint plant or powder coating experience advantageous.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing demands.
• Able to work without direct supervision.
• Comfortable working as part of a team.
• Willing to undertake relevant training.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
• Able to maintain high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Hang aluminium parts onto the paint line.
• Prepare parts by taping, bunging and cleaning where required.
• Carry out colour changes between different parts and processes.
• Clean the paint booth ready for the next colour process.
• Identify any product quality issues and carry out re-tapping where required.
• Prepare and pack finished parts ready for despatch.
• Finish products to a high-quality standard in line with the Golden Sample.
• Check visual aids before completing each process.
• Safely and efficiently use machinery, tooling and equipment.
• Ensure equipment remains in its designated area.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Follow all company Health & Safety requirements.
• Report any concerns or wrongdoing to the relevant member of management.
• Work closely with the Immediate Line Supervisor.
• Take responsibility for your own Health & Safety and that of others.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Line Manager.
