Job summary

Pro-Found Recruitment has a vacancy for a Trainee Paint Sprayer on nights at a Sheffield manufacturing site. The role starts with day shifts for training before moving to nights, with a 4-night week and a £12.71 hourly rate plus a £15.34 nightly shift allowance.

Opportunities include ongoing training, potential permanent contract, and immediate starts after interviews. Experience in related manufacturing fields is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn a new skill.
• Able to work night shifts.
• Physically fit for manufacturing tasks.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, spraying or labouring is a plus.
• Must follow health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timber for spraying, including sanding and priming.
• Apply water-based paints and stains and perform top coats.
• Operate air‑assisted spray guns.
• Carry out quality checks during production.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and meet deadlines.
