Job summary

Precision People is partnering with a well-established engineering firm in Burton Latimer to recruit a skilled Paint Line Operative. This role offers day shifts, a genuine temp-to-perm pathway, and immediate start options, with pay at £13.84 per hour.

You'll work on a fast-paced production line, hang and remove parts, and prepare products for shipment, while contributing to general workshop duties and occasional independent tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working in a paint line role.
• Powder coating and wet spraying experience is an advantage.
• Strong background in an engineering environment.
• Able to hit the ground running and work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Working on a fast-paced production line
• Hanging parts at the beginning of the line and taking them down at the end of the line
• Packing product ready for shipment
• General workshop duties
• Occasionally working independently on varied jobs and materials

What We're Looking For

• An experienced paint line operative
• Strong background in an engineering environment
• 3+ years of experience working within a paint line role
• Powder coating and wet spraying experience is an advantage
• Previous experience in a fast-paced role is a must
• Someone who can hit the ground running and work on their own initiative
