Job summary

VerseOne Group is seeking enthusiastic psychological therapists/psychologists to join the Pain Management team as part of an integrated service. The main base is at Broomfield Hospital with a presence across MSE sites, including potential work at other hospital sites.

You will deliver specialist psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions for adults with complex pain and co-morbid mental health issues.

Qualifications

• Specialist skills in at least CBT and/or ACT.
• Experience delivering group and individual therapy sessions (1-2-1).
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT).
• Commitment to service user and carer involvement.
• Experience working with diverse, multicultural populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver psychological screening and psychoeducational information.
• Engage in MDT discussions and decision making.
• Offer consultation to non-psychology colleagues on psychological care.
• Provide reflective spaces to staff as required.
• Contribute to psychoeducational training for the Pain Service team.
