Job summary

Qualifications

• No previous childcare qualification is required
• Previous experience with children is beneficial but not essential
• Willing to complete the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship; Functional Skills support can be provided where required
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) are desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Supporting children's learning through play-based activities
• Assisting with daily routines, including meals, personal care and outdoor play
• Promoting children's social, emotional and physical development
• Maintaining a safe, clean and engaging nursery environment
• Learning to observe, assess and record children's progress
• Working as part of a supportive nursery team while completing your apprenticeship training
