Job summary

Swift ACI in Hackney is offering a paid Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. You will work with experienced nursery staff while earning your qualification and helping to deliver high-quality care and education for young children.

Responsibilities include supporting learning through play, assisting with routines, observing progress and maintaining a safe, engaging environment. No prior qualification is required, and GCSEs in English/Maths are desirable.

Qualifications

• No previous childcare qualification is required.
• Previous experience with children (through work, volunteering or family) is beneficial but not essential.
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) are desirable but not essential, as Functional Skills support can be provided where required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children's learning through play-based activities.
• Assisting with daily routines, including meals, personal care and outdoor play.
• Promoting children's social, emotional and physical development.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and engaging nursery environment.
• Learning to observe, assess and record children's progress.
• Working as part of a supportive nursery team while completing your apprenticeship training.
