Teaching Personnel invites graduates to join the Future Teachers Programme in Somerset starting January 2027. This paid, full-time school-based placement helps you gain classroom experience and mentoring toward teacher training.

You'll be placed in a local secondary school, delivering pre-planned lessons, covering classes, and supporting pupils while receiving ongoing professional development and a pathway toward formal teaching training.

Formación

• GCSEs in English Language and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above (Science desirable).
• A-level qualifications.
• A degree (2:2 or above) in a curriculum-relevant subject.
• Genuine interest in education and teaching.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Cover classes during teacher absences.
• Support pupils academically and pastorally.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Develop subject-specific teaching experience within your chosen specialism.
• Contribute to the wider school community.
