Job summary

JustOT is recruiting a Band 6/7 Community Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a growing private practice in Hampshire. You will assess and treat children and young people aged 2–25, delivering services in schools, clients' homes, and clinic settings, with occasional online assessments.

The role offers flexibility as a locum, with a varied caseload across autism, sensory processing and learning difficulties, and opportunities to develop tailored intervention plans to support independence

Qualifications

• Paediatric occupational therapy experience.
• Experience with autism and sensory processing needs.
• Experience with learning disabilities and co-occurring conditions.
• HCPC registration.
• Ability to work independently across community and clinic settings.

Responsibilities

Locum Band 6/7 Community Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Hampshire

JustOT is currently recruiting for an exciting locum opportunity for a Band 6 or Band 7 Community Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a growing and dynamic private practice based in Hampshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children, young people and young adults aged 2–25, delivering specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions across a variety of settings.

The Role:

• Deliver specialist OT assessments and treatment for children and young adults aged 2–25.
• Provide community-based interventions within schools and clients' homes, as well as clinic-based appointments.
• Occasionally deliver online assessments and interventions.
• Support children and young people with a range of needs, including autism, sensory processing difficulties, learning disabilities and specific learning difficulties.
• Develop tailored, evidence-based intervention plans to support functional skills, independence and participation in everyday activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within paediatric occupational therapy.
• Experience supporting children and young people with autism and sensory processing needs.
• Experience working with learning disabilities and co-occurring conditions.
• HCPC registration.
• Ability to work independently across community and clinic settings.
