Job description

Are you a Paediatrician, Psychologist or Psychiatrist with expertise in Autism assessments? Are you able to offer on-site services in Hereford and are looking to work flexibly while making a real impact? Qualifications
  • Clinical registration with HCPC or full GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK/on the GMC Specialist Register in Paediatrics or Community Child Health
  • Demonstrable expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Familiarity with autism diagnostic frameworks (e.g."DSM-5, ICD-11")
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic team
  • Awareness and adherence to NICE guidelines for autism assessments
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to ethical, evidence-based care
  • Trained in standardised tools (e.g."ADOS-2, ADI-R")
Desirable
  • Experience delivering services via digital health platforms
  • Experience writing comprehensive diagnostic reports
  • Experienced in ADHD assessments

As part of our pre-employment checks, all employees of Healios will be asked to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Dependent on your role within the business, this will either be an Enhanced or Basic. A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check will be required. You will also be asked to provide two professional references as a minimum.
