Job summary

Nuffield Health in Guildford is seeking a Paediatric Nurse to join our hospital team on a bank/part-time basis. You will care for children aged 3–16 during pre/post operative stages and in clinics, while supporting families with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.

Applicants should be NMC registered with post-registration experience, ideally with ILS/ALS certification and flexibility to work across various ward areas as part of a supportive team.

• Registration with the governing body (NMC).
• Post-registration experience in a surgical ward.
• ILS or ALS certification preferred.
• Experience caring for children aged 3–16.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for children aged 3–16 during pre/post operative stay and during clinics and procedures.

Paediatric Nurse Guildford Hospital | Nursing | Bank | Part Time | Up to £25 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Bring valuable post-registration experience, including work on the surgical ward, with a dual training approach that equips you for both paediatric and adult care environments.
• Ideally possess Intermediate Life Support (ILS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Have a passion for delivering exceptional care to look after children between the ages of 3-16 years during their pre/post operative stay on the ward and whilst they attend clinics and procedures around the hospital.
• Play a vital role in supporting children through their hospital journey, acting as a trusted support for both patients and their parents or guardians.
• Deliver high quality, clinically effective care as an essential part of our ward team.
• Broaden your skills across a wide variety of cases.
• Work within different specialist areas.
