Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Registered and Experienced Band 5 Nurses for a busy 17-bed ward specialising in Gastroenterology, Neurology and Inherited Metabolic Diseases. The role offers flexible working discussions with the recruiting manager.

The ward cares for varied paediatric conditions, and the team provides expert clinical support and comprehensive professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN Child with clinical experience.
• Current NMC registration paediatric.
• Evidence of recent and ongoing professional development.
• Take Charge
• Mentors and Assessors course
• tracheostomy care
• TPN competent

Responsibilities

• Care for children on a specialised medical ward with Gastroenterology, Neurology and IMD expertise.
• Support learning and professional development for nursing staff.
• Maintain high quality and safe care with effective communication in a busy ward.
