Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking paediatric ward staff to provide comprehensive patient care, from admission to discharge, within a dedicated paediatric department across our sites.

The role supports five-star patient care across acute and community pathways, including ward 3F and the CHOBS unit, with emphasis on collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement in clinical standards.

Responsabilidades

• Formulate and implement individual patient care plans with the team leader.
• Participate in holistic patient assessments and act as named nurse for a group from admission to discharge.
• Lead or assist in research or special projects as directed by the ward manager.
• Contribute to setting, maintaining and monitoring ward standards of care.
• Ensure equipment is safe in conjunction with the department equipment controller.
• Assist in internal night and twilight rotations and promote effective ward communication.
