Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for Band 5 Staff Nurse positions on Daisy Ward. This 10-bed unit includes a Neurosurgical, Trauma and Burns HDU and a Burns Unit, serving the southwest and acting as the regional Paediatric Major Trauma Centre.

We welcome flexible working discussions and prioritise diverse, exceptional care. Ideal candidates will have RSCN/RN child branch, current NMC registration, and pursue relevant post-basic studies.

Qualifications

• RSCN/RN child branch with NMC registration or equivalent.
• Current NMC registration.
• Post-basic study programmes such as teaching and assessing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care on Daisy Ward and uphold compassionate practice.
• Demonstrate excellent inter-personal communication with patients, carers and MDT.
• Manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and take appropriate action when needed.
