We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Paediatric Nurse to join our team! Our Child and Adolescent Unit is modern and bright with full amenities which has made us fit for the future and ready to take on the challenge of nursing children and young people with a range of medical, surgical, oncology and mental health conditions.
We have now added to our team and have a dedicated Vulnerable CYP wellbeing specialist Nurse and Mental Health Champion, an Infant Feeding Practitioner and an Education and Development Team as well as an Allergy Nurse Specialist and two Professional Nurse Advocates who can offer Restorative Clinical Supervision and who can advocate for quality improvement. We have strong links with the region and the Paediatric Critical Care ODN to ensure we are up to date with developments.
Developing staff is important to us, we can offer places on High Dependency Course, APLS, and Clinical Assessment modules.
Our Education and Development Team also provide a bespoke training program for Newly Qualified Nurses, Experienced Nurses and Nurses who work in the HDU.
We also are a strong team who work together to support each other.

An experienced health care professional competent in all aspects of care planning, who is able to carry out a wide range of clinical skills, including area(s) of particular clinical expertise and advice within the team e.g. infection control, by working collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families. The post holder will also take an active part in the leadership, education, development and supervision of theteam.
