Job summary

KT Healthcare in the London Borough of Barnet seeks a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join a growing private clinical team. The role is part-time (22.5 hours across three days) and involves working across educational, community and home settings to deliver bespoke therapy for children with complex communication needs.

You will collaborate with families, education staff and other professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes, supported by HCPC registration and a recognised SLT

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Significant post-qualification experience with CYP with complex needs.
• Experience with social communication difficulties or autism/ADHD.
• Experience implementing AAC/Total Communication approaches.
• Excellent assessment, report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working with school-age children with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver bespoke therapy programmes for individuals with complex needs.
• Work across educational, community and home settings to support children.
• Collaborate with families, education staff and other professionals to optimise outcomes.
• Prepare reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
