Job summary

Chelsea Hall School in London is looking for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to support pupils aged 4–11. You will assess, design and deliver 1:1 and small-group therapy tailored to each child’s needs and integrate targets into the curriculum and IEPs.

You will work with caregivers and teaching staff, monitor progress, and provide regular reports. HCPC registration with paediatric SaLT experience is essential, along with safeguarding commitments for children.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience in paediatric SaLT.
• Knowledge of SEN/SpLD needs and safeguarding commitment.
• Understanding of risk management, health & safety, and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive assessments for each pupil on your caseload to determine needs.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate 1:1 and group evidence-based therapy programmes.
• Manage a caseload of children with ASD, GDD and other conditions.
• Ensure preparation for and participation in team meetings and IEP/EHCP reviews.
• Develop relationships with school staff and train them in therapeutic strategies.
