Job summary

Momenta Connect is seeking a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to work mainly in schools across South West London. You will deliver direct therapy, assessment, and consultation, and contribute to EHCPs, collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary colleagues to embed communication support throughout the school day.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract with flexible options, up to £50,000 FTE depending on experience, with strong wellbeing and development

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy required.
• HCPC registration required.
• Experience in paediatric, school-based or EHCP-focused settings.
• Confidence supporting children with complex communication, SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Experience completing assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans.
• Specialist CPD, training or trauma-informed practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess children and young people with SEND, autism, developmental language needs, social communication differences, SEMH needs and more complex profiles.
• Plan and deliver evidence-based, individualised interventions, including direct therapy, advice and consultation.
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reports and outcome reviews.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, carers, SENCOs and multidisciplinary colleagues to embed communication support throughout the school day.
• Review progress, adapt intervention plans and contribute to joined-up support for children with more complex needs.
