Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a motivated Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Children's Speech and Language Therapy Team covering North Cumbria. You will work with children and young people with diverse speech, language and communication needs, collaborating with families and partner agencies to deliver high-quality care.

You will be part of an integrated paediatric team, managing a caseload across clinics and community settings, supporting development

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy approved by the RCSLT
• Registered with HCPC
• Ongoing membership with the RCSLT
• Experience working with children and young people

Responsibilities

• Provide SLT services to pre-school and school-age children referred to the service
• Promote health and reduce inequalities for children, families and communities
• Work within an integrated paediatric team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
• Manage a delegated caseload and provide interventions in clinics, special schools and development centres
