You will work with a paediatric caseload with children referred to the Speech and Language Therapy service.

This is an exciting time to join Speech and Language Therapy services across Greater Manchester, as we move towards implementation of The Balanced System .

You will be required to independently assess children using a wide range of informal and formal assessments; provide verbal and written advice; devise therapy programmes and be able to train parents and staff in different health and educational settings in the implementation of these. In addition, you will also provide written advice which could be used towards Education and Health Care Plan (EHCPs) and EHCP annual reviews.

You will therefore need to demonstrate good communication, interpersonal, organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
