Job summary

KT Healthcare is seeking an associate Speech & Language Therapist to work across children and young people with SEND in educational settings. The role combines direct therapy, indirect support and report writing, with flexible hours to fit around commitments.

HCPC registration and experience with SEND are essential. You will liaise with families and school staff, maintain records and contribute to annual reviews while supporting a growing service.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and eligibility to work with SEND children.
• Experience delivering SLT services in educational or community settings.
• Ability to assess, plan and review speech and language targets.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
• Deliver targeted speech and language therapy with direct and indirect work.
• Assess needs and set therapy targets for individuals.
• Provide written programmes, recommendations and resources.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Produce reports and contribute to annual reviews.
• Liaise with parents, school staff and other professionals.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings when required.
