Job summary

Pulse Healthcare seeks an experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Conwy Child Development Centre in Llandudno, North Wales. This locum maternity cover involves face-to-face therapy with paediatric patients who have communication and dysphagia needs.

The role emphasizes MDT collaboration, accurate records, and delivering assessments and therapeutic interventions within a busy paediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required).
• HCPC registration (required).
• Experience in paediatric communication and dysphagia.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an MDT environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment and intervention for children with communication and swallowing difficulties
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic care plans
• Deliver face-to-face therapy sessions in a child development centre setting
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development
• Support families and caregivers with tailored advice and resources
