Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
• Significant experience as a physiotherapist
• Experience in one or more respiratory settings
• Interest in respiratory care
• Knowledge of a wide range of conditions
• Understanding of holistic assessment and rehabilitation
• Understanding of clinical governance
• CPD in relevant area
• Ability to prioritise and manage a caseload
• Highly developed communication skills
• Flexibility to work with existing teams

Responsabilités

• Act as autonomous practitioner providing specialist paediatric physiotherapy assessment, treatment and ongoing management to children in ward settings, outpatient departments and community settings
• Rotations across critical care and respiratory areas (CF, LTV, respiratory medicals) as agreed with service leads
• Supervise and support junior staff; participate in training and education
• Participate in evening, out-of-hours, weekend and on-call rota as required
• Support audit, service development and research with senior staff
