Job summary

Birmingham Children’s Hospital, a part of the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Paediatric Radiographer. The role focuses on Angiography and Interventional Radiology in a paediatric setting, with training and development opportunities within a multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to a high-quality imaging service for children and their families, with on‑call/shift duties and a commitment to safeguarding and child-centred care.

Qualifications

• BSc Honours Diagnostic Radiography or DCR(R) is required.
• HCPC Registration is required.
• Evidence ofCPD activity and ongoing professional development.
• Evidence of career development and commitment to learning.
• Interest in Angiography/Interventional Radiology (IR) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through Interventional, Cardiac angiography and General Imaging.
• Deliver a high-quality, family-centred imaging service.
• Participate in on‑call/shift provision including weekends and bank holidays.
• Contribute to safe, effective, and responsive patient care for children.
