Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Paediatric Radiographer for LTHT Radiology at Leeds General Infirmary. The role focuses on paediatric X-ray and fluoroscopy within a multidisciplinary team, delivering patient-centred imaging across emergency, inpatient, outpatient and GP services.

You will rotate into adult X-ray areas as part of your development and contribute to service improvement.

Job Summary

This Band 6 Paediatric Radiographer role at LTHT Radiology offers an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, highly skilled multidisciplinary team within Leeds Children’s Hospital. Our paediatric radiographers and radiologists are passionate about delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred imaging for some of the region’s most complex and vulnerable children. Working primarily within paediatric X‑ray and fluoroscopy, you will contribute to safe, compassionate imaging across emergency, inpatient, outpatient and GP services. Our fluoroscopy service includes both routine diagnostic procedures and specialist interventional lists, providing excellent exposure to advanced paediatric practice. We are looking for a radiographer who is friendly, motivated, and committed to helping push the service forward. You will bring enthusiasm, compassion, lateral thinking and contribute to progressing the paediatric x‑ray service, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring we deliver gold standard care to every child and family who comes through our doors. While the post has a core paediatric focus, successful applicants will rotate through our adult general X‑ray departments at LGI. Candidates with tailored paediatric experience will be fully supported, and reasonable adjustments will be made where appropriate.
