We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Children's Therapy Team.
This rewarding role involves working under the guidance and supervision of qualified therapists to support the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy interventions for children and young people with a wide range of additional and complex needs. There will also be opportunities to work independently, using initiative and clinical judgement within agreed competencies and care plans.
The post holder will provide therapeutic support across a variety of settings, including health centres, nurseries, special schools, and children's homes. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will implement child-centred, evidence-based therapy programmes designed to maximise each child's functional abilities, independence, participation, and overall quality of life.
You will manage your own caseload of children with diverse and complex needs, monitoring progress and adapting interventions as appropriate under the direction of registered therapists. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, a commitment to delivering person-centred care, and a willingness to undertake ongoing training and supervision to develop knowledge, skills, and professional practice.
