Job summary

• HCPC registration is required for practice.
• Ongoing CPD and professional development encouraged.
• Experience in paediatric community physiotherapy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a specialist children's physiotherapy service in the community of Bexley.
• Independently manage a varied caseload across all areas of children's physiotherapy.
• Assess the functional needs of children and young people to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assess and treat across all areas, showing problem solving and good judgement.
• Provide advice and education to others regarding management of children's care.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary team members to ensure best interests of the child.
• Support band 5 staff and therapy assistants through training and appraisal.
• Work within clinical governance guidelines and national/local policies.
• Demonstrate HCPC registration and ongoing CPD compliance.
