A paediatric trainee or post-CCT paediatrician is invited to join the SPACE team based at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, with opportunities to spend at least one day weekly at The Royal Marsden Hospital, gaining oncology palliative care experience.

The role includes a 1-in-6 non-resident on-call commitment, a 12-month fixed-term contract, and the chance to undertake SPIN training in Paediatric Palliative Medicine while delivering expert symptom management and end-of-life care across

Competenze

• Paediatric trainee or post-CCT paediatrician
• Commitment to paediatric palliative care and experience in oncology palliative care desired

Mansioni

• Join the SPACE team delivering specialist paediatric palliative care to children and young people.
• Spend at least one day per week at The Royal Marsden Hospital for oncology palliative care exposure.
• Undertake SPIN training in Paediatric Palliative Medicine.
• Contribute to teaching, clinical audit, research and publication.
• Work across hospital, hospice and community settings with multidisciplinary teams.
