Job summary

The Blackheath Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is recruiting a Registered Children's Nurse to join the Outpatients team in London. This is a part-time, 15-hour-per-week role with a permanent contract and a salary up to £42,500 FTE per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

You will deliver age-appropriate nursing care to children, collaborate with families and medical teams, and maintain accurate records while upholding safeguarding standards. The role requires flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Children/Paediatrics) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience delivering nursing care to children and young people in hospital or community settings.
• Strong communication and family liaison skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment.
• Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and family dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care for children across clinical settings.
• Monitor changes in condition; perform observations, treatments and interventions safely.
• Provide information, reassurance and emotional support to families and carers.
