Kirsop-Taylor Healthcare Ltd is recruiting a paediatric occupational therapist to its Therapeutic Services team, supporting children aged 8 to 16 who receive education otherwise than at school under EHCPs. The role is part-time for the full academic year from September, with travel across West Sussex and funded CANS training.

• HCPC registration is essential
• Experience with SEND (Special Educational Needs) and autism is advantageous
• Experience with children and young people across home, school and community settings

Responsabilités

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and young people
• Develop individualised therapy programmes
• Deliver evidence-based interventions
• Support children to develop functional, sensory, motor and self-regulation skills
• Contribute to EHCP provision
• Provide practical recommendations so children can participate more fully in daily activities
• Work in partnership with families, schools and other professionals
• Travel across West Sussex to deliver support
