Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust's Ealing Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapy Technician to join the paediatric team on a fixed-term 24-month contract.

The successful candidate will work mainly in nurseries, mainstream and special schools and clinics across the London Borough of Ealing, delivering pre-formulated OT input to children and young people with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in paediatric occupational therapy is advantageous.
• Experience working with children in schools or community settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-formulated OT input to children and young people in community sites or schools.
• Maintain liaison with school staff, families and other professionals.
• Monitor inventory of sensory-based and other equipment and place orders as needed under supervision.
• Maintain confidential records using the Trust systems (e.g., SystmOne).
• Attend MDT meetings and participate in supervision and annual appraisals.
