Job summary

Service Care Solutions is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support children and young people across mainstream school settings in Hillingdon, London. A structured training programme is provided to help develop paediatric skills and you will collaborate with schools, families and professionals to deliver practical, child-centred interventions.

The role involves delivering targeted OT interventions, completing assessments, and supporting school staff with strategies and plans.

Qualifications

• Paediatric experience in school or similar setting preferred.
• HCPC and RCOT registration are required.
• Training available for paediatric practice is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted OT interventions and develop individual therapy programmes.
• Complete assessments using standardised and non-standardised tools.
• Support SENCOs and school staff with universal strategies and practical approaches.
• Develop pupil-centred intervention plans and evaluate outcomes.
• Provide advice, guidance and training to school staff, parents and carers.
• Attend case discussions, school meetings and EHCP reviews as appropriate.
