Are you a Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in West London? We have an exciting opportunity in a secondary special school setting with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 6)

Location: West London

Duration: 3–6 months (with strong potential for extension)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, part- or full-time considered

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: Up to £40 per hour (DOE)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist supporting students aged 11 to 19 in a specialist secondary school for pupils with Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD) and associated complexities. In this rewarding role, you will:

Perform holistic assessments tailored to individual learning and physical needs

Develop and implement personalised, goal-focused therapy plans

Work closely with school staff, families, and multi-disciplinary professionals

Deliver interventions that support independence, sensory regulation, and access to learning

Maintain clear, accurate records and contribute to EHCP reviews and meetings

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A valid HCPC registration

Experience working with children or young people with learning disabilities and associated needs

Strong understanding of sensory integration, motor development, and functional life skills

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

A flexible, child-centred approach

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers flexible part-time or full-time working options, with availability required from 2 to 5 days per week.
