Locum Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 6) - High Pay, Flexible Contract in West London!

Are you a Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in West London ? We have an exciting opportunity in a secondary special school setting with great pay and flexibility!

* Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 6)

* Location: West London

* Duration: 3-6 months (with strong potential for extension)

* Schedule: Monday to Friday, part- or full-time considered

* Start Date: ASAP

* End Date: Ongoing

* Rate of Pay: Up to £40 per hour (DOE)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist supporting students aged 11 to 19 in a specialist secondary school for pupils with Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD) and associated complexities. In this rewarding role, you will:

* Perform holistic assessments tailored to individual learning and physical needs

* Develop and implement personalised, goal-focused therapy plans

* Work closely with school staff, families, and multi-disciplinary professionals

* Deliver interventions that support independence, sensory regulation, and access to learning

* Maintain clear, accurate records and contribute to EHCP reviews and meetings

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A valid HCPC registration

* Experience working with children or young people with learning disabilities and associated needs

* Strong understanding of sensory integration, motor development, and functional life skills

* Excellent teamwork and communication skills

* A flexible, child-centred approach

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers flexible part-time or full-time working options , with availability required from 2 to 5 days per week .
