Are you a Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in Berkshire?
We have an exciting opportunity within an acute general rehabilitation setting, offering excellent pay, flexibility, and a supportive working environment!

* Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Band 6/7
* Location: Reading
* Duration: Ongoing
* Schedule: Full-time (part-time applicants considered)

* Rate of Pay: �27-�34 per hour (depending on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join a dynamic therapy team within an acute general rehabilitation setting, providing essential support to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. In this role, you will:

* Carry out comprehensive functional assessments
* Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans
* Support patients in regaining independence and function
* Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
* Provide discharge planning and home assessments
* Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates will need:

* Current and valid HCPC registration
* Proven experience in acute/general rehabilitation settings
* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Previous NHS or UK-based occupational therapy experience (essential)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role is offered on a full-time basis , though part-time applicants are also welcomed. The contract is ongoing , with the potential for extension depending on service needs and performance.
