Are you a Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in Surrey? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist Band 6
Location: Surrey
Duration: 1-Year Maternity Cover (Academic Year 2025/26)
Schedule: Part-time, 2–3 days per week (school term-time)
Start Date: September 2025
End Date: July 2026
Rate of Pay: £27-33 per hour dependent on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and play a key role in improving the lives of children and young people with special educational needs. In this role, you will:

• Perform comprehensive assessments for students with a range of developmental and sensory needs
• Create and implement personalised care and therapy plans to support functional independence
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to enhance participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other professionals to provide holistic care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date therapy records in line with clinical guidelines

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid HCPC registration
• Experience working with children in SEN or paediatric settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary educational team
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred care

This role offers flexible working and requires availability 2–3 days per week during school term time. The contract is for 1 academic year, with a start in September 2025 and end in July 2026. Ideal for clinicians seeking part-time work in a supportive SEN environment.
